This month has been full of events, and we’re not even half way through it! Some events were a surprise, some had a more serious undertone, others were interesting, thought-provoking or simply lovely.

After re-reading these first 3 sentences, I think that, in retrospect, I should have asked Kofi Annan last weekend for some advice on how to write an acceptance speech, because I evidently have no idea of how to do it properly. Although, I’m not sure how seriously he would have taken the question. But seeing that there were no bodyguards around, I could have probably tried to ask.

Anyway, the reason for this post is that I have been nominated for not one, but two blog awards!

3. Share 7 random facts about you. I’m ambidextrous. I blanked George Clooney 3 times in less than 48 hours (I hope he didn’t take offense. I’m always miles away). I’m Italian, I live in England and I drive a Japanese car assembled in Wales that I named Jussi and on which I put a Sweden flag sticker on the back. I don’t have a Facebook account. I can last about a week without coffee. I don’t like running/jogging; I can run for about 5 minutes. I have a Golden Retriever who is *not* fond of water, swimming and so on.
